are you ready to groove?
partnered with Groover // artists, albums and tracks you should give a spin
Howdy! ⭐️ Bonnie here - welcome to “are you ready to groove?”, a music outlet where I’m sharing the best tracks I’ve been sent to via Groover.
Jim Eannelli - Where I've Been
Channeling his Jackson Browne on Where I’ve Been and his Chris Isaak vocals, there’s a catchiness to this one.
The Heyokas - Friends with the Devil
A witty and satirical ride through rock 'n' roll, this track blends clever lyricism with a rebellious spirit.
John S. Long - Miss Right-All-The-Time + Cold Wind
A traditional folk song setting the scene of a pub with a musician on stage with only their guitar and lyrics from life experiences.
A bit of a different mood of a song, this one will make you reflect on your own company.
Sonic Silo - One & The Same
Major Fleetwood Mac-vibes, thinking of The Chain or Gold Dust Woman, this song almost sounds like you’re in the studio with Sonic Silo.
Nash Albert - Marbella
In times of celebrating Bob Dylan, this track is perfect. As well as it's also giving Audrey Hepburn on the fire escape singing “Moon River”.
Jersey Ramblers - Goin' Off Road
A jolly track with upbeat lyrics, spreading hope of the ones that go off the road and not do what everyone else thinks it’s best.
Dylan Kight - High & Lonesome
Blending the storytelling of Americana with the raw honesty of indie rock and the timeless charm of folk, Kight’s music immediately caught my attention.
Monotronic - Looking Away
A mix of 2010s The Strokes and 1980s The Police, this felt like time traveling to a better place in time.
Damian Noga - Hayoka
A lot of different musical influences and variations were brought into this song. The drums sounding out-of-space, this one deserves a listen.
"A Henry Nielsen song stays with you" - Nielsen pairs classic songwriting and a DIY sound to this country-guitar driven song making this sound like your perfect road-trip track!
DJ Piscine - My Kind Of Game
This synth-infused track together with some real touchpoints, melody-wise, made us wanna jump up and dance through the halls.
Casey Frazier - In The Gale, The Family Tree, Beginning Again + The Singer
There's a simplicity to saying yes to Frazier’s music. Catchy guitar riffs, lyrics always on point and fire with personal and honest touches to it, a live ambience in every track, the quality makes it a pleasant experience to listen to him.
Don't Tell John - Grandad
This song is fire - with the great rock’n’punk qualities rock and punk combined with Veronica Larkin's vocals this one is a real treasure.
Joe Pope - Little Me
I’m always a sucker for a song with reflective touching lyrics and that hits points inside of me. Little Me is exactly the sweetest folk duo I’ve listened to in a while.
Bad Temper Joe - When the Highway's Done Its Run
This one is the sorta reflective and melancholic blues song that you want to put on for a nice evening after the sun went down and you just wanna unwind and enjoy the peacefulness of this one.
Chloe Clouds - My Heart Has Found A Home
Clouds’ debut single invites listeners to a variety of verses. More slow and wistful beginning to more upbeat rest of the song. If you’ve been listening repetitively to the Wicked soundtracks, this is definitely your taste.
Zircon Skyeband - Tennessee Stud, Must Be Feeling In Love + Don't Stand So Close to Me
This band is composed of lifelong friends from spanning a worldwide connection from California to Nicaragua. You can hear that from their different sounds and collaboration that’s making even covers something unique and individual. Valentine’s Day was just and if you haven’t had enough, their love songs are chef’s kiss!
Scared of Sharks - Cauliflower
Some people are scared of cauliflower, some of sharks. A song that gives off slow French punk and you can’t get enough of it might be exactly for you.
John Black Wolf & The Bandits - Father Son and The Holy Spirit
As a fiction novelist, this track has perfected storytelling, as well as a cinematic ambience that catches your attention from the first note.
DocFell & co. - Dandelions
A John Fogerty vibe, mixed with instrumental country elements, this one should be played in every coffee house while you work on your day’s to-do list.
Tomi Gray - Busted Broken Bones
From the first second, I knew there was a personality in Gray’s song - unique and soulful. Born from the experiences of a bad travel trip, Gray felt inspired to write a song that could accompany you on your next plane ride.
Rocky Michaels - Best Part of Living
In need for a good evening listen, when you wanna unwind and calm down from the day - a Sunday-kinda song? This harmonious and guitar-driven song was a joy for sure!
Violet Jane - but do i wanna.
A song that gives Marilyn Monroe, Lana Del Rey, Dusty Springfield and Nancy Sinatra - that’s an achievement!
Future Faces - Neon Outlines
Big fans of synth wave will enjoy this one. There's a real 1980's feeling to it and it sounds like it was recorded and produced about 40 years ago.
